Truth is the worst. Avoid it all costs.

Being 100% truthful is an extreme way to live. This is why most of us don’t do it. Nature is a bell curve in which moderation is the most common path. Full honesty is at one extreme of nature’s bell curve. Few do it. Why? Because it is a gamble. If you adhere to full truth, you are rolling the dice. You have one of two mind sets: (a) you’re really hoping it goes well for you, that people will respect you for sticking by your principle, regardless of how ugly the consequences are of your truly noble principle, and people will continue to give you what you need, including love and a paycheque, or (b) you couldn’t give less of a damn, because truth is higher than even you, so you literally and laudably don’t care what happens to you as a result of your complete honesty; you are only one human, and truth is an eternal virtue that transcends time and space; you are more than willing to sacrifice yourself to that noblest of paths.
